OK, so I was gifted a 1997 jimmy from my brother. Had a leaking transfer case input seal and so I fixed that along with new carpet and a free set of leather seats from a blazer.

Well....started making a grinding noise from the front end a week ago. Finally got the time to pull the carrier tube off the passenger side. No oil and rust, metal shavings galore.
So I am now shopping for a used front end.

My my question is will a front end work from a bravada? I know the driveshafts are different but I thought I may be able to swap yokes from my new boat anchor. Would be nice to not have the vacuum actuator and everything. It should I just look for a differential from a jimmy/blazer?
