I feel your pain, I am trying to decide if I should weld back or just change the control arm again. I do know one thing, I wont buy moog again.Let me know what you come up with.

It appears to me that even when the bracket is in the right place the design of the bracket has changed (for the worse). I will be welding the old design bracket from my OE Arms to the new Delco arms. Will add pics this weekend.

The new design sway bar tab is destine to fail in the area marked with yellow and will do so just past the weld every time. As long as that tab is able to bend up and down as the suspension moves up and down it will eventually break in the same place. The old design has support on the sides of the bracket to keep it rigid and not allow flex. Once the new design has let go some sort of extra support will have to be added to it to make it rigid like the old design. This is why I will be removing the brackets from my old arms and welding to the new ones. Seems to be my only option.

The RK series moog is junk. Mevotech is making the delco advantage line control arms.
If you get moog try get the CK series. If they dont make that then Delco, mevotech or dorman are a better choice then the RK series.

Talked with a guy at Federal Mogul the main distributor for AC Delco and Moog. After a lengthy conversation and study of pictures and description we determined that description and the referring pictures are wrong. Since this is what most catalogs use it is a problem through out. Rock auto decided they would not work with me to modify the new arms(no warranty if i modify) so I am sending them back for a full refund. I wanted them to send me different arms but they don't offer an exchange program. I'm not sure what I will do next. The new AC Delco arms that are not for the ZR2 but have the right sway bar bracket (Federal Mogul insists that's the only difference) are considerably more expensive so I am leaning towards rebuilding the stock arms even though I suspect one of them is tweaked.
