Default Calling all suspension guru's!

Ok heres the deal: I have a 95 Blazer 4x4, 4r. Freshly rebuilt trans, pretty fresh W code 4.3. It is bone stock other than the updates and rebuilds.

I want to increase ground clearence by 2 to 3 inches at the diffs. Finances are an issue so Im not prepared to spend a ton of money on it. Any suggestions? Body lift and taller tires crossed my mind but I want some advice on what to do or not do. It will still be commonly street driven and it has to keep the reliability factor very high.

Hope Im not asking for the impossible. Idaho is not mountain challenged I like to go way off the beaten path.

Dan

A 2in body lift, 2in suspension lift, and 32in tires will get you roughly another 1.5in of clearance at your rear differential and about 3in at your front differential. That will run you about $600 for the lifts and the tire price really depends on what kind you get. My tires, the ones in my sig, cost me just under $700 mounted and balanced.
