Default New Gears

Looking into getting some new gears for the 35" tires. I have 3.42 gears now, I was thinking 4.56 gears would be good does anyone think another gear size would be better or know from experience? Also if I get new gears will I need to get the installation bearing kit? Thanks everyone in advanced

4.56's are good enough for 35's. When you order your gears, ask for a master install kit. That will include everything you need to install the gears.

Default Thanks

Thanks, I will do that for sure. I heard I will need all the new bearings in such when I put it in. I'm going to be driving on the 3.42 gears for about a day before I get the 35''s, how bad do you think it would be? I think i'm going to be stomping on the gas to get up to speed. haha

The truck will be very slugish. The Master kit will include all the bearings except the axle seal which you can pick up at napa or the dealer.
