Default changing the gears in my 4x4 jimmy......what fits???

I want to change my rear end gears to a 4:11 and heard that 96+ tahoe gears will work. Any truth? If not, what gears from what vehicles will fit?? I want more power and.....yeah. help me out guys!

Just fyi, it has a fresh rebuilt trans, I'm doing a 2in body lift, and adding 31s, a cold air intake, and exhaust. Its a 4 door also

I'm assuming an S series Jimmy. The Tahoe has a 8.5" rear axle, your Jimmy has a 7.5" axle. The ZR2 Blazers and S pickups have the same 8.5" rear differential as the Tahoe. The only factory 4.10s that I know of are from the 4 cylinder 5 speed 2wd S trucks, but unfortunately there are no 4.10 front(7.2" GM) that came factory that I know of(could be wrong)

Gears are pretty cheap... GM 7.5" 7.625" 10-Bolt CHEVY Ring & Pinion Gears 4.10 / 4.11 NEW - Rearend Axle | eBay

Don't forget that upgrading gears will degrade your MPG and your speedo will be probably 15mph off on the high end.

gears i ordered just arrived today, 4.56 with master install kit $297 total
from National Drivetrain, i will order the front gears shortly..
why 4.11's, if all is stock, and you are running 3.42's, 3.73's are common and available for the front and rear diffs, and will help with more power, plus just swapping the whole rear and front diff will save a lot of $$$, and time..
btw, i just looked at your album, nice color red, likley you have 3.42 gears so 3.73 will help..
