help ! axle / drove shaft binding

Default help ! axle / drove shaft binding

Just lifted my 96 blazer 6 inches the drive shaft is binding and making the rear axle jump around when u shift out of park. Lifted with a flip kit and 3 inch block. Everything is tight and together right. Please help if u can

what do you mean that its making the rear end "jump around?"

sound like the drive shaft angle is off, and may need some shims in the rear spring perch, so this is a 2wd, right i only guessing by the vauge description you gave

No it's 4x4 and I mean when u shift out of park the whole rear axle moves backward the forward bout 3 inches the drive shaft is binding I was told to use a 2 inch block and it shoud be ok

if the rear axle is moving 3 inches you got more problems then just binding... just sayin

Got rid of the 3 inch blocked and put 2 inch in and shims works perfect now thanks okiedoak20. Coolasice it was just binding ....... Just saying
