Default clicking noise in driveline!

Hey guys I'm Rob, I just got my first blazer about 3 months ago as of late when the truck is moving under power or not I hear this clicking noise from under the truck! Any ideas on what this may be and if its a easy fix? Thanks for any help!

Is it when turning? Does it do it when not in gear and you rev the motor?

Sorry about lack of info, its a 2003 ls with the 3 button 4x4 and its has 98k
It makes the noise anytime the truck is moving, whether I'm on the gas or just coasting. It's not just in turns so I don't think its the front cv's sounds like its kinda Centered under the truck.

I do hear that metal on metal clang if I get on the gas quick but I didn't know they would also click! This is my first 4x4 I've only worked on cars before is it something I could do myself, or do I need specialty tools? I also need to replace my rear diff cover it has a slow leak.

+1 on the u joint. If you have never done one they can be a pain. The diff is very simple, can be messy but easy.

Ok thanks guys! I think I'm Gona give it a go next weekend! Any recommendations on what brand I should go with? And I'm not worried about the diff I wrench on a race car with a quick change rear, so the mess I'm ready for!! Lol thanks again for the feedback!! I'm sure the more I dig the more I'm Gona find the person that had it before me must not have known what maintenance means!!

+2 on the u-joint. Factory u-joints do not have grease zerks, so they eventually go bad and start clicking or chirping. Don't go cheap when replacing these. They are kind of a pain in the neck to do. Personally, I use Spicer brand U-joints.
