Default Cold weather problems.

Since i have had my vehicle parked in extreme cold im talking 1 degree or less it was fine one day then the next morning this problem has come up.

When i start moving and i first step on the brakes there is a pop that can be felt idk if its the brakes or its related to the other issue but its really noticeable and loud. next when cranking the wheel in reverse there is a pop pop pop sound it keeps going. Then while driving when coming to a stop and taking off there is a pop also when making left turns a continous pop especially if there is bumps.

Any ideas it all just started in this extreme cold but now wont stop.

Another seperate issue in extreme cold what makes the Rpm rise a bit before it goes into reverse this only happens after starting it right in the morning in the extreme cold it takes a second for the tranny to go into gear and the rpm flares.

Thanks.

Well had the shop varifly today it needs new upper and lower ball joints right side.

And a new idler and pitman arm they said they are loose as can be and could break at any time.

Total repair bill 850 ouch.

I sure hope this is the popping i hear when i first stop in the morning in reverse. In any case he said the rotors are in bad shape and have a lip on them so tomorrow im off to autozone to get some duralast premium brake pads i already have new napa rotors i bought.

Anything else i need to check??

The Problem is still not fixed im stumped let it sit out over night go to put it in reverse as soon as i let off the brake i kept the window open the noise is terrible it is almost like a cracking sound/popping noise which is heard and felt it still pops when i hit the brakes in reverse.

Also interestingly enough i can hear the noise if i go and sit in my seats in the truck if you keep the door open and sit down on them pretty hard it makes that cracking/popping noise underneath as soon as it quiets down in one seat i move to all four seats and the noise is once again duplicated.

Something underneath is messed up any ideas???
