Confused about Warn Manual Hubs

Default Confused about Warn Manual Hubs

I want Warn Prem Hubs, but im getting 2 different answers...

I have a 1990 K5 Blazer, 1/2 are saying i need the spindle nut kit, some are saying just slap that hub on w/o it....

Which Is it, how can I tell? Whats the kit for if i need it?

Straight from Warn:
H When Replacing Automatic 3 Hole Cap Screw Hubs, You Must Purchase Corresponding Spindle Nut Conversion Kit
So if you have the Automatic 3 Hole Cap Screw Hubs, then you need to purchase the spindle nut kit. If your front axle was already converted to manual hubs or came from the factory with manual hubs, you do not need it.

Thanks, but im a beginner at these, whats a 3 hole cap screw hub? This is the site i was referred to...

Automatic to Manual Hub conversion

mine looks like that on the outside, theres more than 3 screws...

Precisely as I have stated... If you have more than 3 holes in the cap on your current auto-hubs, then you should not need the conversion nut kit. Try not to over think it.
