i have some questions for the blazer guru's of the site.... first off i want to lift my 97 blazer LT 4x4. and i dont want to go all out on a 6" lift, what i want is more ground clearance, to be able to fit bigger tires, to be able to go off roading and still use it as my DD. i was wondering about a body lift, add-a-leafs, torsion bar cranksand what not. i wanted to know all of your opinion's on this subject. secondly i wanted to know what the biggest tire i could fit is if i do the body lift ect. or if i were to go all out on the 6" lift how big could i go there?..what im working with is a bone stock 97 blazer..what should i do?

 

after i posted the thread i realized this. i have an LS not an LT and this is probably in the wrong section to get the answers i want.

 

Please utilize the search feature. This has been discussed many, many times.

Also, try to remember to use the edit feature when you realize you either mistyped or want to add information to your post.

 

LS and LT are option packages and wont affect your suspension. If you have a ZR2, well thts a blazer of a different color.

As for your questions, check the self help section. I did a write up on what fits. Once you find it and give it a read, post up any more questions you may have.
