Creaking noise coming from front end
what's going on guys? I have 1999 Chevy Blazer and last week I started hearing a creaking noise (almost like when you open an old door) whenever I turn my car to the right....what could this be? and how much would it cost to get fixed? I had this same problem with my 92 Cougar and it was the lower ball joint that needed to be replaced..could this be the same? please help!!!!!

RE: Creaking noise coming from front end
Did you ever figure out what your creaking sound was? I have a creaking sound, just like yours, when i'm braking. the right left wheel intermittently creaks when slowing to a stop. I'm thinking it's one of many things that tell me i have to replace my wheel bearing. What did you find out was your problem?

For me, that weird noise was the lower ball joints.
