Default CV axel

Hello.
We have to change the CV axel, but do not find the right one at Rock Auto when I measure the one we have. The car in question is a 1999 Blazer LT 4 door, 4x4 (in the registration paper it says LS). As this is an export car, it has fender flares as standard.
When it lies on the bench uncompressed, it is 58.5 cm / 23 inches, but when I put it upright and press it together, it becomes approx. 570 mm / 22.4 inches.
There are 26 splines on the female part and 27 splines on the wheel side.
The male shaft part that is left in the transfer box, do we have to replace it as well? And if so, how to get this out?
Hope someone here can help

Regards Per

Uncompressed.

This is the closest one I could find, but it still seems to be about an inch short. I wonder if maybe yours won't compress all the way or something.

TrakMotive GM-8047

Maybe you can buy just the joint(s) and rebuild it yourself with your center shaft?

Nice looking Blazer, by the way.

Hi Tom A
I took off the inner cv boot now (it was very hard and old rubber) and pressed it back together, and then it went all the way to the bottom and then the length was about 21.1 inches (536 mm), so maybe the 21 1/2 inch could be used? The others are 23 inches and longer so they are far too long.
I can`t take it apart, have tried in every way, so i can`t rebuild it.
Thank you for your reply
