Have a 97 ZR2, replacing cv on pass [left] side. Shaft has about 1 inch end on it. shaft goes in and then stops short about an inch before it's suppose to bottom out. Is there a trick or special mark to line this up? It is the lock ring style and I don't want to smack it too hard with the hammer. It goes in fine until the last. What am I missing? Thaks for any help!
