ok sorry i didnt get anypics up but it is for sure a dana 44 reverse pinion/high pinion witch is great but it has coil springs and some arm going to the frame i want to use leaf springs on my blazer and i found the kit to mount them to my blazer but what should i do to the axle to make it mount to the leaf springs.?

get a diff axle, thats a radius are setup that you found, and if i remember they have the cast wedges on the diff (someone confirm but i believe thats right). try to find a f250, they are high pinion and dana 44 or some came with dana 60s.
are you looking at using the sky manu kit i assume?

Radius arms aint that bad. Truthfully on a street/trail rig I'd take one over a leaf spring. They ride much better than leaves. They do however leave some to be desired in flex.
77 or 78 (I'm sure the link above corrects me) has the cast perches. Those themself aint bad. Its the fact the axle tube is pressed in from each side leaving a place a leak could develop (rare) a place for the tubes to spin (more common). Again if its a street/trail truck I don't have a problem running the cast perches.
If you are building a leaf spring front I agree look for another axle.

i used a hp dana44 that was originally a coil axle and i used leaf springs. u just have to weld on spring perches and ul be fine. harder to put u bolts on, ul have to cut a lil out of the trim around the pumpkin to do it but it wrx fine.

yea my step dad works in a fab shop and has over 20 years of welding experiance so i was going to get him to stringthen it up for me like the normal week spots add some welds but what i want to know is why i would have to grind off the pumpkin i didnt see anything that looked like it would get in the way but if i do grind out a little and then stringthen it up is there any other problem i would have othere than that and do i have to grind anything off after i unbolt the radius arms i belive the axle tube would be clean and ready for leaf springs right..?

yep. installing mine was ez, i just had to remove a lil of the trim around the pumpkin cause i used a narrow spring hanger from a toyota and a full size axle, just how it lined up. itl be ez for u if ur sted dad is a fabricator.
