diff plug froze in place

i have a 1997 blazer 4wd i changed the axle seals and went to fill diff with lube and can not budge my fill plug even with a long 1/2 ratchet, is there a after market cover with a fill plug or some kind of kit that you can make your own hole

When I removed mine, I used a 3/8 Ratchet and had no problems. You may want to spray it with PB Blaster or WD-40 and let it sit for an hour or so to try and loosen it up.
As for the aftermarket cover, there probably is, just have to search around and depends on what you're willing to pay if there is.

Heat the plug and surrounding area with a hand held propane torch. While the metal is still warm spray it with penetrating oil. Let it sit for a few minutes then remove the plug. I have used this method for years to remove stubborn screws, oil galley plugs in engine blocks, drain plugs, etc. and it has worked for me every time. You could do it with the cover still on the differential, but it might be worth the cost of a gasket to remove the cover and do it on the bench. That way you could check for debrise and inspect your gears at the same time.

You can fill through the vent hole if you don't want to spend any money.

thanks for the help, i tried one more time with some heat my plug socket spun so i went to auto zone picked up a 1/2 rubber plug back in the section with drain plugs drilled the hole put cover back on and filled her up tighten plug and was back on the road.
