If you're doing mostly highway the stock rear axle will hold up...barely. the front is where you'll have problems though. I had a 5" TM lift and 33s on my blazer for 10 years and 120,000km(75,000mi), and in that time i had to replace front ball joints every couple years, control arm bushings every few years, sway bar bushings, tie rod ends, wheel bearings, cv shafts, idler arm, steering box...well everything. rear axle was fine the whole time. just my .02

My engine trouble was just a clogged cat.

I will be mostly highway...but the problem is I have a 4.10 front end coming next week. I don't want to spend hundreds of dollars on a regear for a crap 7 5/8", when I can get a real axle for less than the regear would cost. Also...I replace that stuff every couple/few years anyway...won't be any different.
