front carrier to rear end? possible?

Default front carrier to rear end? possible?

Can I buy a front 4x4 axle and use the internals to repair my rear end? (72 12 bolt rear axle)

I have an opportunity to purchase a front positraction differential and I was wondering if I could make my rear a positraction by using the front end posi

I do not believe that GM ever used the 12 bolt as a front axle. For your application, you should have a Dana-44 up front. You cannot use the carrier from a Dana-44 inside a 12-bolt.
