cut the drill bit down, or take it to a shop and have them cut it down and sharpen it for you. ive done that many times to get into tight spots. getting that welded is going to be expensive as they will prolly want it removed from the vehicle and split so they dont ruin the gears inside. or take the tension off the torsion bar and remove the lower control arm to gain the access needed. best of luck.
