Question front end humming

my 98 blazer 4x4 is having a low humming nosie coming from the front end. around speeds 25 and the humming increases with speed. im wondering what can cause this. the noise is constant while driving and doesnt change if i turn my wheel left or right. just does it when im going down the road or freeway . could it be anything to do with my 4x4 i keep it in 2hi due to i cant use my 4x4 due to it wont engage.

It has to do with the 4WD in mine, I just haven't figured out what exactly. When I engaged my push button 4WD the noise stopped even though my 4WD is inop. I was reading swartlkk's DIY index and it gives you a check to perform to see if your 4WD is working. My 95 has 192,000 miles on it and I hear the same, barely audible rumble of a vibration that you do. I changed out my right hand spindle bearing up front and no difference. I believe it has to do with the solenoid in your 4WD not engaging, but don't quote me on it sorry I can't be of more help.
