Default Front End Noise Only 66k Miles

Hey guys I am new to the forums. I just bought a 2000 GMC Jimmy Diamond with 66k miles on it. I noticed once I got home the the front end is very creaky.

When I get in it, it creaks and I can hear the creaks even while I am driving. Is a typical spot these need to be greased up front? Or could it be something else?

I know the vehicle is 14 years old, but the thing still smells new in the inside. Is there anything else I should be watching for on this truck?

Any and all advice is appreciated! Thanks

I had the same thing happen... Turned out to be ball joints. Yours may just need to be greased, or they may need to be replaced...

What did it cost to replace them? Is there an aftermarket set that won't have this issue?

Replace the balljoints (go with moog,or trw, rebestos professional, anything else is a miss)

also go ahead and replace the idler arm with a moog or trw....these blazers eat them too.

Have guys really had to replace the ball joints and idler arms at 66k?

Also, I am in MN and some shops won't grease them right now because it is so cold. Should this really be a problem?
