Front end suspension vibrations
I'm new to this forum and blazers in general I just bought a 2000 blazer ls 4wd and just yesterday I started having vibrations and the sound that would normally be mud tires the only problem is I'm running street tires I checked the ball joints they are a bit worn but could the wheel bearing be part of this issue as well or cv axle all my cars before this one were solid axle front and rear so this set up is a bit new for me Its coming from only the frt rt side Thanks for any advice in advance
could definitely be the ball joints hubs or axles. you can visualy check the axles and try to move them around by hand to see how tight they are, or take them out and inspect them and spin the wheel bearing to see how is spins also check tie rods
is it a wobble or a grinding noise
have you tried jacking it up and spinning the tire to see how it feels?

typically the boot will get worn out on the axle and then it will dry up and then start making noise. If your ball joints are at all loose I would recommend replacing them. The only way to tell for sure it is you wheel bearing and not an axle or something in your differential would be to take out the axle and spin the tire, that way its the bearing is the only part effecting the rotation of the tire.
In my opinion on s10s it is always woth it to replace hubs tie rods and ball joints and even you axles if you can swing the cash. It is nice to have the piece of mind that everything is all new in the front end
