Default Grinding sound on left hand turn

Hello all - Im new here and my first post... I just bought a 1998 Blazer 4 door 4x4... I have a grinding noise only on a left hand turn. Driving straight, right hand turns or just at idle and turning there is no sound. sounds like its coming from the passenger front tire area. Could it be the bearing? Thanks in advance for all you help! David

There's a 99% chance that the wheel bearing is toast, I've just been through the ecaxt same thing. Buy some QUALITY, not the el cheapos, wheel bearings an do both sides at once. It's an easy task and can be done with handtools in the driveway. Only special tool you'd need is a long 36mm socket for the driveshaft nut.
