Default GU6 G80 rear end for my ‘00 4 door 4x4?

My current GU6 (3.42) rear end is shot, looking to replace it with a GU6 G80 locker diff. We’re these an option on the 4x4s? If so, is there any certain blazers I should look for in the junk yard? And the years that’ll fit my blazer is 98-04 correct? Thanks!

Gu6 g80s were an option on the 4x4s. I don't believe there is a specific one to look for that would be more likely to have it though

I'm pretty sure you're right that the 3.73 gears were standard on the ZR2, but 3.42 gears could be ordered as an option.

You could pull the chunk and use your ring gear.
