Default Rear diff lockers

Ive been looking at lockers and i want to know what any of yall have and which one is the best for the price. How much would one be if i bought one and installed it myself? Ive looked at detroit and eaton but theyre like 500 i want to know if there are other cheaper ones out there that are still decent.

Not sure if it meets your needs but some of the Blazers came with the G80 locking diff from factory. I got my ZR2 axle with the G80 for about $150, and installed it by myself in about 2 hours. For my needs it works perfectly. You could probably get an axle from a pick-n-pull type place for a lot less. Just check the RPO list in the glove box for a G80 code and match the gears to your truck.

Yep, but the G80 was an option on regular Blazers with both the 3.42 and the 3.73 gears.

I have a Detroit locker, works good, takes a bit to get used to, but makes it waaaay more capable than open, or G80.

True tracs work well too if you're looking for something more aggressive that a G80, but not a full locker.

I have the Auburn ECTED, but it's not cheap one like you're looking for. Works great though, I'm happy with it.

What lift do you have on your truck? And don't forget you will have to change the front gears as well so make sure you do your homework and can get matching gears for the front cause the are limited for these front diffs.
