Default Helper (or repair) Bearings

The other day we discovered that the driver side axle shaft had worn a spot in it where the oem bearings were. Apparently these bearings are made to shift the bearings to a new position where the axle isn't worn. Has anyone used them or heard any bad stories about them? We really don't have the money to replace an axle shaft right now but I would rather not use these if they are unsafe.

As long as its a reputable bearing manufacturer I would not be afraid to use it .
Take a look at the surface the seal is going to ride on because it may be damaged as well

Usually those bearings are more expensive , thats money you could be putting towards another axle
