Hub Bearing replacemet for a 96 can I interchange?
Anyone try this? why couldn't I replace my 96 hub bearing assembly with a 98 that has the abs attached? are they different bolt sizes are the unit's different sizes? or with the abs brain not recognize the new hub assembly? Anyone know what tools I need for the job. there is a parts yard with three blazers I am sure I can get both hubs for less than 50 bucks that hopefully work, do I need some special tool or a big socket to take the bolt off? Or is there a write up on this procedure? Thanks for the advice
I think that the ABS reluctor ring on the driveshaft is in a different location... If it isn't... You'd have to make sure that the reluctor ring is the same major and minor diameter for the notches.
