I have a shocking question
As I posted in the 33 inch tire thread, I just found out that my front shocks are toast. The rears seem to be fine, but, if I can swing it, I'd like to replace all 4. Question is, what would be a good shock to replace it with? Body size, travel length?? I won't have to worry about the shocks rubbing the frame any longer, so, that's not going to be a problem. I've been looking at Rancho shocks, they seem to be in my price range, for the most part.
I'll look into those. What would you recommend for a little softer shock? My Blazer will see more on road than off and I don't need my son's head bouncing off. Haha. I'm excited, today should be a good day.
I may get the RS5000's. I think they'll be an OK every day shock. I don't do a lot of offroading, but, when I decide to, I'd like to have a shock that's not going to be too soft or too stiff. Thanks for the help.
Finally got my Blazer into the shop to thaw out, HOPE to do some work tomorrow. UGH!! I desperately need 4 wheel drive, it's so helpless without it, especially with the 33s I have.
