Default Identifying correct replacement transfer case

Thanks to all who previously helped me with determining my transfer case needs replacement, I have been shopping for used ones and the good news is that they seem to be readily available and reasonably priced. However, I am concerned that I get the correct replacement.

I have a CHEVY BLAZER 2002 3 switch dash cont (opt NP1) electric shift. I have gotten the numbers from the plate screwed into the back of the transfer case and here they are:

Model 233C ***’y No. 1504 8303 S/N 83 01M# .272 Ratio

I am now seeing some listed as #6558, #5763, #6389, #6557, and more. Is there a listing where I can confirm that I am buying the correct one, or do I need to get other numbers also to identify the correct transfer case?
Thanks

everything you need to know about what t-case is needed, is right there on that tag you found.

question. where are they getting the (as an example) "#6558" number?

on the tag, you only need to worry about the # @ the top (MODEL) like 231 C, and the # @ the bottom (RATIO) like 272.

the ***'Y NO. & SERIAL NO. are self explanatory.

Looking back at the postings, perhaps those numbers are the seller's stock numbers. It seems, however that some of the advertised 233C cases with electric shift are identified as fitting 93-94, or 94-95, then another category of 233C that fit 96 97 98 99 00 01 02 03 04. Mine is an '02 with automatic transmission.

Do you know if it is a 233C, regardless of year, it fits all years (93-04); and auto and manual transmission?

Thanks again all for your help. I ended up buying a used 233C from a local used transmission/transfer case vendor. $120 plus seals and fluid and I am in business for $160! After cleaning the replacement case and installing the new seals, it took about 4 hours to do the swap. 2H, 4H, and 4L all work great. The job isn't too terrible, I guess the worst part is adding the fluid with the case installed attempting to avoid leakage. Avoiding leakage was futile. Oh well, the job is done and I did it cheap.

Thanks again all.
