Default is it idler or pitman?

i have wear on the inside of my driver tire and when i jacked it up i can wiggle the passenger tire side to side. this is my first blazer and i know nothing. there is an arm attached to the tie rod and it is bouncing up and down. the arm is on the passenger side. i was told this is the idler arm and i was told it was a pitman arm. i just changed my brake pads for the first time and noticed all this. can anyone help me?

If it wiggles a lot side to side it usually meens the wheel hubs are bad. The idler arm is on the passenger side and the pitman arm is on the drivers side. The idler is easy to get to after you remove the plastic skid plate. It bolts to the frame and the centerlink. The pitman is a real PITA If you have a 4x4. You have to remove the steering box and use a pitman puller.

I just bought an idler arm at NAPA about 2 hours ago $45. Will install it later this week.
