Yeah, after I finished my 2" lift, my rusty looking frame draws people attention. Prior it was hidden under the body, now I have to take care of blasting and painting. Leaving jokes aside, the 2" body lift gives You a better access to pretty everything in a car's engine compartment - bell housing bolts, spark plugs, top of a fuel tank, You name it.
EDIT:
At this post You may found a brief info on how to do a body lift: https://blazerforum.com/forum/off-ro...15/#post693428

There ya go! A benefit of a body lift I had not anticipated: however at the cost to one's vanity if you feel you your neighbors judge you based on the cleanliness of your truck's frame. :-)

It's not *I feel*. I went to change the tires to a friend and heard "Nice, but You know, the frame gives a contrast to the body. Maybe You should have it painted...?". Then, another day another friend said "Well... Now You have all the rusty looking frame outside..."

In fact, I have an option of getting a frame for $150 for blasting & galvanizing... That is so tempting that I must struggle to resist.
