Hi there,
How do I know if I have a locking differential or not?
Need an oil change, but cannot find if I need different oils!?

Thanks, I looked it up, have G80, but is it locking or not, and which oil do I have to use?

Do a quick search on "G80" and you'll find everything and more about it than you want to. Use straight gear oil with NO ADDITIVES. Most use 80W90, synthetic is fine to use.

Thanks, this will help, my previous car was a Grand Cherokee, It had always a damaged driveline, front, rear, transfercase, because previous owners had used the wrong oil and Ls dopes in the diffs.
The Chevy anyway has less problems whith the driveline, minor vacuum perhaps, but that costs less!
