Pulled it out of a bravada in the junk yard. And yea its as easy as removing the differential cover removing a small bolt attached to the middle pin removing the pin popping out the axles on each side and sliding the old diff out. Now putting the new one in you have to make sure you put the shims back in correctly in the bravada there was one on each side (not sure if they are all like that or not) and put the diff cover back on fill up on fluids and ur ready to go. Now "other parts" you mean...? If you are speaking of gearing if you buy a brand new diff they will not have a ring on them you wi have to take your ring off whatever is in there now and put it on the new diff. Now if you are like me and got a used one there may already be a ring on there. Just make sure that ring is the same gearing as what your truck originally has, and if noy you can remove that ring and put your existing one on the diff you want to put in.

The g80 is the differential, so if you have an open diff and want to put in a g80 you have to remove the open differential and put in the g80, or you have a g80 and want to put in a powertrax you remove the g80 and put in the powertrax

7.6? Thought it was a 7.5
