Default Locker questions

Currently have a G80 locker in my Jimmy and its just not enough for my off road use. I know if I get a lockright I'll have to get a open diff. Just wondering what else I'll need. I currently have the 7 5/8 10 bolt rear end. Has anyone had experience with the lockright lockers?

In my personal experience, they work great in a front axle, but they aren't very durable in the rear. I would get a "real" locker, like a Detroit or a Grizzly (assuming one is available for that application) and not have to worry about it.

The stock front diff isn't really strong enough to take a locker. The reason behind choosing the lockright, nitro or another lunchbox locker is because there a third of the price of a full selectable locker and a lot less work to install and set up. Just seeing if anyone on here had any experience with them in there truck. My stock "locker" is not good enough for trail driving.

And I told you my experience from running them in multiple trucks over the years. They work fine for occasional use in front axles, but they wear out and slip when used full time in the rear.
