Default lockout hubs?

I'm looking to put some lockout hubs (I believe that's what they are called( on my '83, but I haven't been able to find them for sale anywhere. I'm trying to get a few extra mpgs out of it for when I get it completely road worthy, because I'd rather not get 5mpg. Where on earth can I buy them? How difficult are they to install?

Where have you looked?? Mile Marker & Superwinch both come up on SummitRacing.com. Basically anything that fits into a Dana 44 will fit into the GM Corp 10-bolt front axle.

I've done a lot of search engines, JC Whitney, LMC truck, etc. but never saw those come up. I'll head over and check em out. How difficult are they to install, or is it a fairly straight forward process?

Oh, nother quick question, is it worth getting lockout hubs for a Blazer that's not full-time 4wd?

Sorry for all the questions, I'm fairly new to the 4wd scene... I'm used to 2wd trucks and Camaro stuff. I'm very willing to learn though, and I'm researching stuff as well... So hopefully I'll be up to spec soon.

Yes, it is worth getting lockout hubs. It fully disconnects the front drivetrain.
