Default loose steering

Hey Guy's,

I just bought a 94 Blazer, put a new 5.7 Vortec in it and starting to work on suspension issues.

the steering seams loose and the truck wanders a bit. Can you tightin up the steering gearbox or do you have to replace it?

Are there any other things that might help this issue?

does anyone make a suspension kit with all the bushings, tie-rods, ball joints and other stuff for this truck?

thanks for your help

Near as I can tell it's rack/pinion.. so no you cant tighten it up.

Check for leaks under the boots, If it doesnt leak, better off checking inner and outer tie rods for slop, and replacing them. Remann'ed racks have horrible rep for leaking.

And complete suspension kits are a great iidea.. been tried, but most people too cheap to do it all at once.
Guilty.

So try rockauto.com.
Dont go the 'cheapest parts' route unless you plan on selling it within a couple years.

A steering stabilizer may help. My '02 with larger tires wants to change lanes for me almost at times with road undulations lol.
