Default Low speed wobble

Hi everyone, I have just bought a 2002 4dr 4x4 blazer with 95,xxx miles and just noticed a slow speed wobble. I notice the wobble mostly around 12-16 mph, it feels like somebody is standing outside the car pushing back and forth on the rear window. It's not bad enough to throw you around in the seat but just enough you can feel. I had my wife drive it while I rode next to it on a bike and didn't notice any wheel wobble. I just put four new tires on and had a alimgment done about a week ago. I'm stumped because when I get up to 20mph and higher it goes away and handles great. Just wondering if anybody has any ideas what it could be before I start ripping things apart and replacing things that don't need replacing. Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Oh and just a side note, I don't feel any shaking or wobbling in the the steering wheel. It happens while driving straight and the steering wheel is not moving.

I know this is just a long shot cause I really have no idea, but if your not feeling it in the steering wheel and it feels like its coming from the rear I would check your rear sway bar bushings and other bushings back there. Otherwise it sounds to me like a ujoint but don't listen to me try to find out if its bad by yourself.

U joint is a possibility. ...I also get an intermittent shake on the freeway at 70ish...sometimes its there, sometimes its not. Gonna check mine out or just replace em anyway.

Sounds like a square tire or rim. Change backs to fronts and see if you can feel it. What about when the tires have been and are warm?

So just a update here. I changed the oil today and while I was under the truck crawling around I checked all the ball joints by using a prybar and every looked good. I have read about the U-joint being bad, but in my experience that vibration gets worse as you speed up and let go of the gas. I was thinking maybe a tire as well but like I said the Are all new tires and didn't see any out of roundness while I was riding next to the blazer on my bike. I did talk to a mechanic and he was thinking maybe a bent axle, but again I would think that would get worse the faster you go. Will Check the u-joints soon though and keep everybody posted, thanks for the help

Just because the tires are new..... does not mean they cant have problems.

do as said, put backs on front, and fronts to the back and see if it changes.

I will rotate the tires this weekend and see if that changes anything. Oh and after the tires have warmed up (25 miles highway) it still wants to wobble.

Any update on this? I have the same low speed wobble. I've adjusted the alignment a few times and nothing seems to affect it.

It's a pretty pronounced wobble until I hit 20mph.i feel like I'm in one of those toy trucks with out of round wheels until I gain some speed.

No steering wheel shimmy at all. It feels like the back is wobbling but it's tough to tell where the wobble is focused, really.

Anyone find a solution?
