Default manual hubs?

ok so we all know that the stock ifs on our trucks is not the most stout thing ever built. we also know that doing a tbar tweak adds more wear to our front end parts like cv shafts and bj's. well from everything i have read the upper arm kits like rough country can reduce bj angles and make them last longer.
so now to the cv shafts. wouldn't it be a good idea to add manual hubs like warns or superwinch? im not sure what the auto hubs on the s-series 4x4's are like cause the other dimes i have owned have been 2wd.
the way i see it is that by adding the hubs you could truly disco the front axles and add life to your cv's.

what is everyones opinion on this?

ok after a little more research i have found that this topic was a waste cause i did not realize that the s10 has a system similar to the chrysler cad axles. i thought it was actual vaccume hubs like on the isuzu rodeo as an example.

yea there is no such thing as manual hubs for the s10s sadly... The only way to lift your truck without messing with the cv angles is either a body lift or a full drop i.e. 5-6" lift.

Or a solid axle swap... which if you plan on wheeling this thing hard would be awesome.

yeah the s10s actually disengage in the middle of the axle not like the fullsize. slap a dana 44 under there then you can get some manual hubs. funny thing is i just came in from swapping out manual hubs on my s10. i threw that ifs stuff out years ago

i was just thinking about it cause i put some manual hubs on my brothers rodeo when he had it. he has the tbars up a good bit but it was pretty much street only and he never had a cv issue. and yeah i want to go sfa but not for a while. i have a xj for the real wheeling. I really just wanted a way to disco the shafts to save wear on the street.
