Well I got my Blazer (97 4x4) to the shop to swap in a rebuild trans. When he lifted it he noticedsome frame damage and a busted ear on the front diff. Frame can be repaired and my options on the diffis to have the ear welded back on, or to replace the front diff. I think I'd rather replace it, but I'm afraid thatif I doI may wind up withan incorrect ratio. I know I can research the codesformy owntruck, but what aboutone I may get already out of a vehicle? Also, what other vehicles would have a front diff. that would interchange? Thanks, Alan
