Here is the problem, even after replacing the right front hub assembly on my 2000 Blazerthere still is a metalic grinding noise. The noise is present when it is in 2 wheel drive but it is not present when it is put into 4Hi or 4Lo. A little more info on the Monster Child bought it used less than 2 months ago with 165,000 miles on it.
Now here is the main questions I need to get answered if at all possible:
1. Could it be the front or rear differential needing fluid?
2. If so where do I fill or check fluids at?
3. Any other ideas of what to check would be greatly appreciated?
Would like to get Monster Child fixed as soon as possible as I go to school Mon. and don't want to have to drive the Monster it costs arm, leg, and left kidney to fill with gas nowadays.
Thanks for the help,

To check the front diff fluid, it's on the passenger side of the diff, about 1 - 2" higher than the axles... I think.
If you're hearing grinding, though... Adding fluid isn't going to help much.
Could be your other wheel bearing, or your 4x4 actuator cable is getting stuck part way, and not completely coming out of 4x4.
