Have you tried looking at a GM parts seller? They can often provide the correct GM part number that you can then use to cross-reference with other manufacturers.

I couldn't find parts seller but try to order s10 extreme axle for automatic and to match the axles . I believe should be the same as extreme blazers?

There are two possible rear ends for a 2002 2WD Extreme S10/Blazer. One has a 7.625" ring gear (commonly mis-lableled as a 7.5) with 26 3/8 long 28 spline axles and the other has a 8.625" ring gear (commonly mis-labeled as an 8.5) with 26.5" long 30 spline axles. So count the splines on the end of the axle shaft to ID which one you need.

4WDs can have either size of ring gear but they are both wider than the 2WD. Probably this is what you received the first time. ZR2s are yet another width. Older than 1999 rears are 28 spline for 8.5 and 26 spline for 7.5 ring/pinion. So there are lots and lots of axles for S10s' that are not the same.

I happen to have a 8.625 rear housing with 30 spline axles out of a 2002 S10 Extreme 2WD in my 1989 S10 race truck. Just put a spool and new ring/pinion and c-clip elminators in it, so I'm well-versed on this rear end in particular. Lots of little differences between 8.625 and an older 8.5. Aftermarket 8.5 ring/pinion work on aftermarket carrier/spool that is made for larger ID of 12 bolt carrier bearings. This means the carrier bearing shim kit that comes with the 8.5 bearing kit will probably not work and you will need to buy 12 bolt carrier shims. An aftermarket 8.5 yoke will work (but you have to use the 8.5 pinion oil seal). This means the oil seal that comes with the 8.5 bearing kit will also not be used. Lastly, if you put drum backing plates on a disk brake rear (like a 2002) you will find that the backing plate register on the housing is slightly too large for the backing plates to fit and they will need the center holes enlarged slightly. I needed to use new backing plates for drum brakes for my c-clip eliminators to fit on my housing and seal up to rear end lube. So the point is ........ there are a lot of differences you wouldn't suspect in these rear ends and the differences would probably make the Autozone computers smoke!! Rule is garbage in - get garbage out!

If you have the 28 spline 7.625 2WD, here is the axle.

If you have the 30-spline 8.625 2WD, here is the axle (Yukon doesn't make the 30 spline 8.625 2WD S10 axle). These are rare like hen's teeth and thus Yukon didn't see the need to make it! Rumored to only exist behind 2WD 4.3 V6 5-speeds in the 2001+ S10/Blazer Extremes. https://xdiffautoparts.com/Axles/AXG26058925

Good luck!
