I would go with this if you want something reliable and wont kill your CV axles.

If anyone is interested, I have 2 brand new Rough Country shackles (2 1/2") rear sway bar relocation mounts, and fatter torsion keys I will sell for $70 Shipped. This will work on s10 models 82-04. Only reason I am selling them is because I already have the lift I need on my Blazer. 6" worth... I needed to buy longer custom upper control arms so my alignment could be done correctly. Rough Country kit number 242n2 is PERFECT for those trying to comfortably fit 31x10.5s with a good ride to boot. I am running 33x12.5s, so I had some serious camber issues, and suspect that any lift will cause these types of issues (without longer upper control arms). This kit ran me $425 and did all the work myself, but it was well worth it! I wish I would have known about it sooner. It woulda saved my $1200 Mickey Thompsons some serious life and mileage. anyhow, if interested in the shackles, sway bar mounts, and torsion keys, hit me up. (This lift also has mods for front diff so the angle on CV axles isn't severe)

I got a 2005 base blazer and I'm having same problem is there
Any front end swaps or lifts besides torsion crank?
iv considered a body lift but it makes my frame
stick out more and theresalot of hoses and wires to extend anyone have any suggestions will a lift from another blazer work?

 

is the rough country 2.5" lift a good buy for my 2005

Body lift looks like crap, it shows the frame. I am thinking about adding a body lift and then sanding the visible frame and putting por15 black over it. But definitely do suspension first since its clean and only do body after if you need extra clearance for 32" tires. Rough Country's kit is only $430, it came with everything you need for great CV angles It rides great! I fit the biggest tires I could which are 31x10.5 so the bigger tires do make the truck want to go left and right when its really windy outside but handling is still great since its only a 2.5" lift. speed is off 5mph at 60mph but thats fine I know to go 5 less. You can also get a PCM tune to fix that. They arent too spendy. I havent needed to yet though. heres a pic !

That's what I got on my Blazer, and I love it. It is well worth it.
