That is a good idea!. I don't know what it the scrap aluminum would fetch, but it may make a fun afternoon to bust into it to see what makes it tick.

Thanks for the good idea. I see you are in Colorado. Ever need a used tranny or tcase, I can give you the name of the seller I got mine from. He seems to have a good size inventory.

Sure man, I'll take that name. I don't need anything right now, but you never know whats down the road. I used to know of a place over by old Stapleton that dealt only in hard parts for transmissions and t-cases, but for the life of me I can't think of it. If I can remember I'll pass it along to you in case you decide to try to rebuild it. They're used parts, but he cleans and inspects them, and he would let you pick his brain for tips and tricks.

Cool, thanks. Heres that place I was talking about, I don't know why I thought they were out by Stapleton, theyre right down the road from your guy! Those guys helped me out a bunch with a TH700R4 that I was rebuilding!
