If you want to make sure just rotate the front tires to the rear and rear to the front. That will tell you if it is related to the tires or not. If the noise is still there then it maybe wheel bearing or some other component that is related to that area.... front axle connection to the hub???? just not sure until you lift the front tire and check for bearing tightness...

The reason why I did not suggest the tire rotation method is because tire imbalances are normally felt through the steering column more than the chassis. Wheel bearing problems on the other hand are typically felt through the chassis before the steering column.

Sounds like the same problem I am having and I am sure that it is my bearing. FYI - Advance Auto has a Dynapak Hub/Bearing assembly for $136 on their website. That's the best deal I have been able to find.

An improperly worn tire will also cause vibrations and noise at certain speeds. Run your hands around the tire. Do you feel high/low spots? Do you feel sharp edges? Do you see high/low spots?
Most alignment shops will do a free front end inspection to help pin point where the problem lies. Get the free estimate and post up what they find.
If it was a grinding noise, then I would say its your wheel bearing. What your describing sounds more like a tire out of round.

Wheel bearings can be checked fairly easily by jacking up the suspect corner and putting your hands at 12 & 6 o'clock and pull out at the top while you push in at the bottom, then push in at the top and pull out at the bottom. If the wheel moves, your wheel bearing is bad.
The thing with this problem that leads me away from an out of balance wheel is that it goes away when the suspension rises over a bump, relieving pressure off of the wheel, but I have to wait to hear back from the two of them about where they are feeling the vibration through.

hm it sounds like a wheel bearing just starting to go,and ifit isthese arepricey.take it too a tire shop. i know the shops by me ie(ntb,sears) do a free front end check to make sure everything is legit goodluck
