Default NP236 T-case mode shaft positions 99 blazer

The shaft that the encoder motor turns to select 2hi, 4hi, etc…

What positions of that shaft correlates with the with each T-case mode?

I have been searching for hours with no luck.

Long story short, I had a mechanic tell me that the transfer case is seized up. But I can move that shaft with a 17mm wrench no problem.

Seems to only have 3 positions. Not sure if that is right and which position is which mode.

99 Blazer, 4 button 4wd.

thanks!
