one wheel sticks out?!
ill get some pictures soon for y'all to see...
but i noticed when checking to determine what size spacers or what offset wheel to get, that my passenger front wheel sticks out farther than the drivers side. im talking about 1/2" - 1" difference. when i bought the truck the previous owner said the vehicle had never been in an accident. could he have lied? i just did the ball joints in the front, and the idler arm, yesterday. it was then i got a 2nd opinion on if it was sticking out or not. and the other parties thought so as well... anything i should check? should i be worried about this?

the pics were at slightly different angles (that was as close as i could get) but you can see the passenger wheel sticking out...
even at the anglesthey areat... it should make the drivers wheel appear to stick out more than it is, yet it doesnt, and its clear that the passenger wheel is sticking out...
do you have a problem with abnormal wear on the outside heel of the passenger tire, if so its the camber angle. Measure the distance between the insidelip of the passenger side rim and the inside lipofthe driver's side and compare it with the factoryspecifications.
well i got an alignment done today
it wasnt out much at all... but its all good now.. and that wheel still sticks out...
the shop thinks it could be a frame issue.
the shop also thinks my truck has been in an accident.
so im gonna talk to ICBC and see if there was any accidents (cause the previous owners said there wasnt)

I was browsing the Suspension section for a different reason but couldn't help bumping this post. I have the same exact issue, which I didn't notice until I installed my 17" wheels. To my knowledge, my truck has never been in an accident, so I don't think that's the problem.
Closer inspection reveals that the front axle pokes out a little more from the driver's side wheel (it's the passenger side wheel that sticks out, as with yours). This is why I couldn't install the cap on the driver's side wheel, and it could also explain why there's a little rubbing on the right tire but not the left. I think the issue may have something to do with the engagement of the 4WD.
I will definitely also look into this issue in more depth with my truck. I plan to get an alignment done next month, so I will ask the tech to check it out thoroughly. When I figure out what it is, I'll post it.

I have the same issue with my truck. My passenger front tire sits about an inch, maybe a bit more, further than my drivers side. I also notice that the rear pass. tire also sits out a bit more than the drivers side, not much, about a 1/4-1/2 inch. I checked the alignment pins in the spring mounts on my axle, but they seemed good and centered.? I have taken it to 4 different shops and they don't know what is wrong. One of them said I need a pitman arm and was going to charge me $476 to do the job, but that wouldn't even fix my problem. If anybody has any ideas, please let us know.
check bushings and ball joints if yours has them check all possibly points of give plus check for stress marks on control arms and u bolts to see if there is any movement from stock location to see if possible extreme wear has happened to the mounts maybe there bent or pulled away from the frame???
I just put ball joints on it and it didn't help. I checked for movement in the control arm bushings, but there wasn't any excessive movement. Also the ujoints in the back are brand new along with the lowering blocks.
