Exclamation Original Bilstein Shocks

I have a 2000 blazer 2WD I bought the car bran new. Question is I have about 82,000 miles on it its my daily driver I was just wondering when should I replace my shocks and springs?

If you truck starts to ride like a boat on water, your shocks need to be replaced. You can test them by jouncing the front of the truck (jump off of the bumper) and watch how long it takes for the truck to stop moving. If it comes up, then settles down and stops, then the shocks are good. If it bobs a few times, then the shocks need replacing.

I've got 175,000 miles on mine with the original Bilsteins and they are still good. Milage is not an indicator of worn shocks. Use the method described above to determine if yours need replacing.
