Default bilstein shocks do they lower your ride height?

I bought bilstein shocks for my 98 HD in the front and sports in the back, is here a drop with them? im curious .. ive heard various opinions on shocks but overall bilstein is the overall chosen winner so for that im happy with my purchase.

Springs are what lower your truck. Shocks just reduce the movements made by springs so your not going up and down up and down up and down when you're riding.

I have herd of people getting a little lift (like quarter of an inch) form using bilstines shocks. but they wont lower the ride height.

New shocks have always lifted my vehicles a little.

Shocks just take the bounce out of your ride and gobble up the impact you feel over bumps - SHOCK ABSORBER
