i have a 99 blazer. ignition key will not turn and steering wheel will not turn what to do?

I guess I'll have to ask... Are you using the proper key? Do you have a spare key? If so, did you try the spare?

How did this problem come about? Did it slowly get harder to turn or did it happen all at once?

i got it fixed. what they don't tell u is to disconnect the battery to the truck. the only way to get the cylinder out is to turn the key like u are about to start the truck. then pull on the key. it just slides out.


i am glad we have this. its hard to find good help
