Default Play in steering wheel

Hi everybody!

I just bought a 2003 Chevy Blazer LS 4x4 and there is a small amount of play in the steering wheel. I have been driving smaller cars for the last 8 years so I may just not be used to it. I just thought I would get some ideas on what it may be so I know what i may be in for with repairs.

Thanks!

Could be any number of things, here are a few: Idler arm, pitman arm, steering gear box, rag joint, upper universal joint in steering shaft, inner or outer tie rod end, center link, upper ball joint, lower ball joint, upper control arm bushing, lower control arm bushing, wheel bearing/hub assembly. If you're not familiar with the testing procedures for each item, take it to a shop that specializes in wheel alignments.
