Default Pop in front end when shift to reverse

Hi, my blazer makes a pop sound when u initially shift into reverse. Sounds like its coming from the left front, would it be the hubs unlocking? Just wanted to see if anyone had this issue. Thanks

What year? 2 or 4 wheel drive? That is usually a sign of a failing or binding u joint however.
